Welcome to Kara Roberts Photography. I am a passionate person - especially when it comes to beautiful things. Photography is an amazing way to spotlight the beauty of this world - whether it be children, families or the amazing splendor of nature.
I recently moved with my family to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I can work with families, children and pets on the greater Eastside (Issaquah, Bellevue, Renton, Kent) as well as Seattle.
I had the pleasure of photographing these sweet babies – the children of a dear friend of mine – a few weeks ago. They were a DREAM to work with. I, however, at eight months pregnant, was the weak link in the chain so to speak – I maneuvered as best I could!
They are gorgeous babies and I could not be happier for this family.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much – I promise to show you the very good reason why in December.

I just can’t stop with the butterflies – sorry…. It’s good practice – nailing exposure when you’re that close is tough… All shot with my Canon 100mm 2.8 macro – for several of these, I used my Kenko extension tubes…
I have forever loved Calla Lilys. Sigh.
